Recommendations after your review
What the cards under your review mean, what happens when you tap one, and how booking through RMH works.
Sometimes the most useful change to a profile is outside the profile itself. When your reviewer thinks that is true for you, they can add a recommendation to your review, with their own notes on why. You will see it as a card under the review, for example “Your reviewer recommends investing in professional photos”.
What each card means
- Photography
- Your reviewer thinks new photos would help more than reordering the ones you have.
- Fashion
- Your reviewer thinks what you wear in your photos is holding the profile back.
- Stylist
- Your reviewer suggests help with hair or grooming.
- Personal training
- Your reviewer suggests a longer-term change before your next set of photos.
The notes on the card are the important part. They describe your photos and your profile, so they are more useful than any general advice, including ours. Your reviewer is not paid a commission for making a recommendation.
What the Learn about button does
Each card has a button such as “Learn About Photography Services”. It currently opens a short form, already filled in with your reviewer’s name, the kind of help they recommended and your email. Add anything you want us to know, such as your city, and send it.
A person at RMH replies by email with the right service for your city and its price. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
Not using the app right now? The same request works on the web, on the services page.
How booking through RMH works
RMH sets the price for every service and takes the payment. You pay RMH once, after your pro confirms a date, and RMH pays the pro. When the session is done, your reviewer picks what goes on your profile.
- Paying
- You pay RMH, not the pro. One price, tips included, charged after your pro confirms a date. RMH pays the pro.
- Tips
- Tips are included. You never pay the pro directly.
- Canceling
- Free cancellation up to 72 hours before your session. Within 72 hours, half the price. Within 24 hours, the full price.
- Reshoots
- If fewer than five photos make your reviewer's cut, we reshoot for free.
Prices vary by city, and you see yours before you pay. The menu is on the services page.
The free shot list
If your reviewer recommended new photos, start with the RMH shot list. It is six shots built from what reviewers keep and cut, plus what to leave out and what to wear. Every RMH photographer shoots to it, and it works just as well with a friend and a phone. Copy your reviewer’s notes onto it before the shoot.
Took the photos yourself? Send them to the same reviewer for a second review and ask them to pick your six and the order.
There is no obligation
A recommendation is advice, not a purchase. You do not have to tap the card, fill in the form or book anything. Your review is complete either way, and your reviewer is not paid a commission for recommending a service.
