Coffee Meets Bagel profile review, by a real person.
One batch at noon, seven days on every chat. Your profile has to earn the first message.
Think of a Coffee Meets Bagel profile review as a test run of your noon batch. A vetted reviewer reads your photos, prompts and icebreakers the way a new connection would and tells you what to change. Written and video reviews take two to three business days, live calls are booked with the reviewer, and prices run from $20 to $150.

“Beiyi did a great job reviewing my profile and gave me a very honest response I wanted to hear from a reviewer. From her review, I can tell what a girl like her would like to see in her profile, and I was able to tell how my sense of humor did not translate through my profile.”

“Angela gave me a detailed and thoughtful review of my profile. It felt like she actually took the time to go through everything instead of rushing through it or giving generic advice. She explained what she liked, what she thought I should change, and gave specific suggestions for my photos, prompts, and overall profile. I’ve already made several changes based on her feedback and feel like the review was definitely helpful.”
Coffee Meets Bagel sends a curated batch of profiles every day around noon. Once you connect, the chat stays open for seven days, and a message in the last 72 hours adds three more (CMB help center (opens in a new tab)). That’s a smaller pool than a swipe app and a clock on every conversation.
CMB also puts more of you on the profile. Its own profile guide, from 2023, names prompts like “I am…” and “I appreciate when my date…”, and its advice is to “think of your profile as a giant icebreaker” (CMB blog (opens in a new tab)). It says profiles with the details filled out are 50% more liked.
The short version
Lead with a clear photo of your face, with just you in it.
Answer every prompt with something a match could ask about.
Write icebreakers you’d enjoy answering, since that’s where chats start.
Reply in the first day or two, because chats close after seven days.
What to fix on Coffee Meets Bagel
RMH’s 2026 report doesn’t break out Coffee Meets Bagel, so these come from how the app works and from CMB’s own advice.
1
The prompts are one-liners
A one-word “I am…” gives a match nothing to start with, and CMB itself says detailed profiles get liked more.
Try this
Answer each prompt in two or three sentences with one specific detail. “I appreciate when my date picks the place and has a backup” says more than “I appreciate honesty”.
2
The icebreakers are an afterthought
Icebreakers don’t show on your profile, but they’re how chats begin. A lazy one wastes a connection that already has a week on the clock.
Try this
Write icebreakers you’d enjoy answering yourself, with an easy, specific answer. The best thing you ate this month beats “how was your week?”
3
The photos look like a passport
CMB won’t approve a profile without at least one photo showing your face. A set of near-identical headshots meets the rule and looks like you’re renewing a passport, not looking for a date. The guidelines also ban several kinds of photo outright (CMB guidelines (opens in a new tab)).
Try this
Keep your clearest headshot, then let the other photos answer what a match would ask. What do you do on a Saturday? Who are your people? What do you look like standing up?
Skip
AI-edited photos (banned)
Hunting photos (banned)
Photos of kids without you (banned)
4
The chat dies on day six
A connection left unanswered for most of the week closes, and reopening it costs beans.
Try this
Send something specific within a day of connecting, and use their prompts for material. If it’s going slowly, a message in the last 72 hours buys three more days.

Coffee Meets Bagel Profile Review: questions people ask first
What is a Coffee Meets Bagel profile review?
+
Feedback on your Coffee Meets Bagel profile from someone other than you. On RMH a vetted reviewer goes through your photos, prompts and icebreakers and tells you what reads well and what to change.
How does a Coffee Meets Bagel profile review on RMH work?
+
Pick a reviewer on the RMH marketplace, send screenshots of your CMB profile in the RMH app, and choose a written review, a video review or a live 1-on-1 call. Written and video reviews come back in two to three business days.
How much does a Coffee Meets Bagel profile review cost?
+
Each reviewer sets their own price. Written reviews run about $20 to $50, video reviews $49 to $100 and live calls $70 to $150. You see the exact price on the reviewer's profile before you pay.
Is Coffee Meets Bagel different enough to need its own review?
+
Yes. CMB sends a curated batch each day instead of endless swiping, chats close after seven days, and prompts and icebreakers carry more of the profile than on a swipe app. A reviewer judges your profile against how CMB actually works.
Do I need a face photo on Coffee Meets Bagel?
+
Yes. Coffee Meets Bagel won't approve a profile unless at least one photo shows your face.
Can I get my Hinge, Tinder or Bumble profile reviewed too?
+
Yes. RMH also reviews Hinge, Tinder, Bumble, Raya and other dating app profiles. Send screenshots of whichever profile you want reviewed.
