Your prompts could be anyone’s
“I love travel, food and good company” is true of nearly everyone, which is why nobody comments on it. On top of the 40% of reviews that flagged a prompt, reviewers called another 19% of profiles generic overall.
Try this
Trade one general answer for one specific detail. A place, a habit, a firm opinion about something small. “The best bagel in Brooklyn is not where you think” hands someone a question. “I like food” doesn’t. There are more in the best Hinge prompts.

There’s no photo of you smiling
Six straight-faced photos read like a passport renewal. A smiling or laughing photo is the single photo reviewers request most often, in 33% of RMH reviews.

Have a friend take a dozen while you’re talking, not posing. The one where you’re laughing at something off-camera is usually the keeper.

Your hobbies are in the prompts, not the photos
A prompt that says you climb is fine. A photo of you halfway up a wall does the job better. Reviewers asked people to show their hobbies and interests in 35% of reviews.
