Work with RMH

Photographers, stylists, hair stylists and trainers who do the work our reviewers recommend. RMH books it, sets the price and pays you.

RMH is a marketplace where people pay reviewers to critique their dating profile. When a reviewer recommends new photos, a style change or a haircut, RMH books the service, collects the payment and pays the pro. Partners get a written brief with every booking, see their payout before they accept, and never invoice a customer. There is no fee to join and no lead fee, and you can apply from anywhere.

Who we are looking for

  • Photographers

The Signature Shoot and the shoots inside the packages. Candid, daylight, natural color, to the RMH shot list, with the customer's reviewer picking the final set.

Read the photographer standard and apply
  • Stylists and personal shoppers

The Virtual Style Plan, built from photos of the customer's closet, and Closet + Shop, an hour in their closet then two hours shopping together. Both packages include a closet audit and outfit plan. Remote stylists can take customers anywhere.

  • Hair stylists

The premium haircut inside the Full Makeover Day, timed a week or two before the shoot so it has settled. Select cities.

  • Personal trainers

Reviewers recommend training when a longer change would help before the next set of photos. There is no training package on the menu yet, so we take applications now and book you once there is.

What customers book

Every booking is one of these. The customer picks the package, pays RMH, and you get the brief.

Pricing
RMH sets the customer price for each package, by city. You see your payout for a booking before you accept it.
Payment
The customer pays RMH when the booking is confirmed, tips included. RMH pays you through Stripe once the work is delivered. Nothing to invoice.
Exclusivity
Non-exclusive. Keep your own clients at your own prices.
Quality
The customer's reviewer, the person who recommended the service, sees the result before it goes on the profile.

Customers read this on the services page. “You pay RMH, not the pro.” Reviewers are not paid a commission for recommending a service, so the recommendation stays honest.

The RMH partner standard

Whatever you do, a partner who joins RMH agrees to the following. Photographers also shoot to the shot list.

  1. Read the customer's brief before you meet, including the reviewer notes they chose to share. They say what is missing in this person's profile, which no general advice can.

  2. Deliver what the package says. For a photographer, that is the shoot to the shot list. For a stylist, three date outfits that photograph well and a shopping list with links. For a hair stylist, a haircut a week or two before the shoot, so it looks natural on camera.

  3. Never take payment from an RMH customer. They have already paid RMH, and tips are built into the price.

  4. Confirm or decline a booking by the deadline in the request.

  5. Let the customer's reviewer check the result before it goes on the profile. For a shoot, that means sending proofs and editing the picks.

Apply

A person reads every application and looks at your three links against what customers book. Photographers can also apply on the photographer page, which has the shot list and the photo standard. Interested in reviewing profiles instead? See becoming a reviewer.

Partner questions

Do you set my prices?

For RMH bookings, yes. RMH sets the customer price for each package, by city, and shows you your payout before you accept a booking. Your own clients stay on your own prices.

How do I get paid?

The customer pays RMH when the booking is confirmed. RMH pays you through Stripe once the work is delivered. You never invoice or chase a customer, and tips are built into the price.

Do I need to be in one of your cities?

No. Apply from anywhere. A customer in your city is matched to you, and a stylist or trainer who works remotely can take customers anywhere.

Can I work remotely?

Stylists can, for the Virtual Style Plan, which is built from photos of the customer's closet. Trainers can too. Photographers and hair stylists work in person.

Is it exclusive?

No. Keep every other client, platform and directory you work with.

How many bookings will I get?

We do not promise a number. Volume depends on your city and your service. Photography is the service reviewers recommend most, and clothes come up in three of every four video reviews.
