Shoot dating profiles for people who already know what they need

RMH reviewers tell customers when their photos are the problem. RMH books the shoot, sets the price and pays you. Partners shoot the RMH way.

RMH is a marketplace where people pay reviewers to critique their dating profile. Reviewers recommend new photos in more than a third of reviews. When a customer books a shoot, RMH matches them to a partner photographer, collects the payment and pays the photographer. Partners get a written brief with every booking, see their payout before they accept, and never invoice a customer. There is no fee to join and no lead fee.

Who the customers are

RMH customers pay a reviewer to go through their profile photo by photo. Reviewers recommend new photos in more than a third of reviews, so the people we book arrive with a brief, and with their reviewer’s notes when they choose to share them.

What you will shoot

RMH sells a small menu, so every booking looks like one of these. The customer picks the package and pays RMH. You get the brief.

  • Signature Shoot

90 minutes, three outfits, two locations. You send proofs, the customer's reviewer picks eight, you edit those.

  • Profile Makeover

A Signature Shoot inside a package with a stylist and a profile rewrite. The customer arrives with outfits already planned.

  • Full Makeover Day

A half-day shoot alongside four hours of shopping and a haircut. Select cities.

What you receive

Each booking will be one email from RMH with the customer’s first name, city, package, the dates they can do and the brief. The brief has the six shots, plus anything the customer chose to share with us, such as notes pasted from their review. This is the shape it will take.

Sample brief

First name · City · Package · Dates

  1. The opener

Head and shoulders to waist, a real smile, eyes to camera, daylight, a calm background. No sunglasses, no hat, no bar.

  2. Full body

Standing or walking, outdoors, in an outfit that fits. One photo should show your build and height honestly.

  3. The hobby, in action

Doing the thing, not holding the equipment. Guitar being played, food being cooked, a trail being climbed. This is where uniqueness comes from.

  4. The candid

Mid-laugh or mid-conversation, not looking at the camera. Shoot many and keep one.

  5. One social shot

With one or two friends, where it is obvious which one is you. Only one, because group shots are the photos reviewers cut most often after selfies and posed shots.

  6. A second setting

A different place and outfit from the opener, so the profile does not look like one afternoon. If you have a dog, this is its photo.

Their reviewer’s notes

Anything the customer pasted from their reviewer’s notes appears here, as they shared it.

The RMH partner standard

A photographer who joins RMH as a partner agrees to the following.

  1. Shoot to the RMH shot list. Candid, daylight, full body, one social, one hobby, no sunglasses, no bar.

  2. Read the customer's brief before the shoot, including any reviewer notes they chose to share, and confirm the six shots with the customer.

  3. Shoot RMH packages at the RMH price. The customer has already paid RMH. Never take payment from an RMH customer, including tips, which are built into the price.

  4. Confirm or decline a booking by the deadline in the request.

  5. Send proofs to RMH after the shoot. The customer's reviewer picks the eight to edit.

  6. Edit for natural color and deliver the picked photos within seven days of the pick.

  7. Reshoot when fewer than five photos make the reviewer's cut.

Pricing
RMH sets the customer price for each package, by city. You see your payout for a booking before you accept it.
Payment
The customer pays RMH when the booking is confirmed. RMH pays you through Stripe once the edited photos are delivered. Nothing to invoice.
Exclusivity
Non-exclusive. Keep your own clients at your own prices.
Reshoots
If fewer than five photos make the reviewer's cut, the customer gets a reshoot. RMH talks to you first about what to change.

Customers read this on the services page. “You pay RMH, not the pro.” Reviewers are not paid a commission for recommending a photographer, so the recommendation stays honest.

The reviewer’s pick

After the shoot, you send proofs to RMH. The customer’s reviewer, the person who told them their photos were the problem, picks the best eight to edit, and the order. You edit those. If fewer than five make the cut, the customer gets a reshoot, and we talk to you first about what to change.

RMH will review customer feedback and the reviewer’s notes before matching a photographer again. If something is not working, we will talk to you before anything changes.

Partner questions

Do you set my prices?

For RMH bookings, yes. RMH sets the customer price for each package, by city, and shows you your payout before you accept a booking. Your own clients stay on your own prices.

How do I get paid?

The customer pays RMH when the booking is confirmed. RMH pays you through Stripe once the edited photos are delivered. You never invoice or chase a customer, and tips are built into the price.

Is it exclusive?

No. Keep every other client, platform and directory you work with.

How many bookings will I get?

We do not promise a number. Volume depends on your city. We rank cities by how often reviewers recommend new photos to customers there and by customer requests.

Who owns the photos?

Your normal terms apply. RMH asks that the customer's reviewer can see the proofs to pick the final set, and that the customer can use the picked photos on their dating profiles.

How are partners removed?

RMH will review customer feedback and the reviewer's notes before matching a photographer again. If customers tell us the brief is not being followed, or a complaint is unresolved, we will talk to you before anything changes.

Do I need to specialize in dating photos?

No. We look at whether your work already looks like the shot list, with candid, daylight, natural color photos of people who look relaxed rather than posed.
