Comparison

Hinge Prompt Feedback vs a real reviewer.

Prompt Feedback checks your answers inside Hinge. Here’s what it leaves out, and when that matters.

Hinge Prompt Feedback is a Hinge feature that uses AI to rate your prompt answers as “Great Answer”, “Try a Small Change” or “Go a Little Deeper”, without writing anything for you. RMH is a separate service where a vetted reviewer goes through your photos, prompts and the rest of your profile and explains every note. Reviews start at $20, and RMH isn’t affiliated with Hinge.

When Prompt Feedback is enough

It’s already in the app, it takes seconds, and Hinge says the feedback is private. If you’ve just written a new prompt and want to know whether it lands, run it through Prompt Feedback first. A “Go a Little Deeper” is a useful nudge.

It also won’t put words in your mouth. Hinge built it to point out where an answer is thin, not to write it for you, which fits its own advice to treat AI as “your wingman, not your ghostwriter” (Hinge’s AI dating guide (opens in a new tab)).

When a reviewer is worth it

Prompt Feedback looks at your prompts. On Hinge the photos usually get judged first, and a lot depends on how the photos and prompts work together. A reviewer looks at all of it. Which photo should lead, which one repeats another, whether your prompts and photos point at the same person.

Prompt Feedback will tell you to go a little deeper. It won’t mention that your third photo is a group shot from 2019.

You also get the reasons. A label tells you an answer could go deeper. A reviewer tells you why it reads flat to someone in your dating pool and what to try instead. In RMH’s 2026 Dating Profile Report, reviewers flagged a prompt answer in 40% of reviews and moved the first photo in 28%.

How to use both

Use Prompt Feedback while you write, then book a Hinge profile review once the profile is finished. The reviewer can then spend their time on what the AI doesn’t look at, like photo order and how the whole profile reads.
